Gisella and Oriana guide Vai con (C)alma Retreats from beginning to end. Not a team taking turns: it is the two of them, the whole time. Before guiding anyone, each of them had to stop her own life and start again.
I was born in Sardinia and for more than twenty years I have travelled following the sun. The sea has always been the thread running through my life, even in the years when I worked on dry land, running a bar. Today I organise summer camps for young people with a sailing and windsurf school, Buena Onda, and it is there, inside the water, that I recognise myself.
I love water sports and surfing, but also yoga, breathwork and movement. I am a certified Odaka Yoga teacher, a practice born from the meeting of yoga and the sea, where the body moves like a wave and not like a fixed shape. For many years I have been following a path of personal growth to understand myself better, and I have not finished that path. It only became more honest.
Vai con (C)alma Retreats and AMANA were born from a simple dream, to let other people live what I was lucky enough to live. It was inspired by the effervescent energy of Brazil, the warmth of Brazilian culture, the sea and the surf in a way that is completely different from Europe, with dolphins and turtles in warm, wonderful water. New flavours, another language, huge beaches surrounded by real nature. Dancing to live music and feeling the energy of your own body. And returning home with a different way to look at life.

My name is Oriana and the world has always been my home. I was a manager in China, where I lived for many years, and then co-founder of a corporate events agency in Barcelona. For years I lived at an intense, frantic pace, dictated by deadlines, by numbers and by large responsibilities.
And then came the turn. My greatest passion was always travelling, and I fed that spirit of adventure until it grew bigger than the life I had built. I chose to leave behind my old world, the career, the money and the old patterns, to begin the most important journey of all, the one that happens inside us. I have been on it for seven years.
The more I moved around the world, the more I felt the need to slow down and listen. My soul was looking for silence and for the peace of nature, and it was there that I rediscovered how therapeutic nature is, the strength, the clean energy, the way it regenerates us. I understood that we desperately need a protected, honest space to stop, to breathe and to find ourselves again.
From that awareness my holistic path was born: art therapy, plants as natural remedies, cacao medicine, and finally the creation of retreats. Today I bring my extensive experience in events planning & management together with my own personal evolution, to guide you in places like Brazil and other paradises, where all you have to do is let go, relax, feel and find yourself again.

We became friends the same night. One of us was dreaming of changing her life and creating retreats for women, the other was already on a holistic path and wanted to make it her work. Vai con (C)alma was born out of that conversation, and AMANA is its first retreat.
AMANA takes place from December 1 to 7, 2026, with a group of no more than ten women.
